Just a Little About Me

Well, I don't have a clue... I'm not a cook, but I like to try a recipe from time to time or change one up just a bit to see how it comes out. Pinterest is great for finding and trying new recipes. And the best part of Pinterest are those great pics that accompany/proclaim a recipe. 'Cause, if I don't like the pic then I'm sure I won't like the recipe. It's just that old saying, "A pic is worth a thousand words!". So, join me and thousands of others on Pinterest!

I don't know anything about "blogging", but I've been having some fun (and frustration) trying to set up, organize, add little features and learn a little something new. And I continue to look for 'new' tricks of the trade, as there are some great sources on the net to help all us newbies. I'm hoping to improve my blog as time goes by - Good name for a great song! I do have a little time on my hands since I retired in 2006 after 30 years with what is now known as the New AT&T - good & bad memories, but certainly more good than bad! I am also married to my partner of 27 years. He retired in 2007, after 31 years with AT&T. But in retirement, time flies and I stay busy trying new recipes, handling little projects around the house, taking care of our yard and, of course, trying to figure out this blogging thing!

Our little 'girl', Gabi, keeps us entertained. We rescued her from a local shelter 9 years ago and there is not a day that goes by that she doesn't thank us (or that's what we like to think)! Isn't she cute!
