Concerts in the Park

Saturday, July 7, 2012, we attended the first summer Concert in the Park at Farnsworth Park Amphitheater. We had perfect weather and a fun evening! Plus, one of our favorite local restaurants served up some of their tasty morsels!

Following highlights the Concert Series Schedule, Concert Series menu provided by El Patron, opening night report from the Altadena Blog, a few pics and a little video of one song I captured on my iPhone called Altadena: A Boomer's Story, performed by Mike Manning, Those Manning Bhoys.

I'm sure we will take some time throughout the summer to enjoy some of the other groups and entertainment! Ya'll come!

Sheriff's Support Group of Altadena 2012 Summer Concert Series Schedule. Make your plans now.

Summer Concert Series menu El Patron Mexican Restaurant. For this first concert, we had soft tacos and a choice of carne asada, carnitas or chicken with grilled veggies & grilled jalapenos (they were HOT, HOT - did I mention they were HOT! And I like hot. Just $1.25 each - a taco for $1.25, really! Chips & salsa were available, along with sodas. The Rotary club was selling beer & wine. Works for me.

Altadena Blog covered the opening night event capturing several highlights. We were "captured" in the fourth pic from the top of the blog page, far left, 5th row from the top of the theater! Unfortunately, Gretch got blocked by the 'copyright' notice, ugh! Take a look at the highlights from the BLOG.

An original song performed by Mike Manning, Those Manning Bhoys:

WildWSS, over & out until the next Concert in the Park!
